Pixel Sanitizer ("we", "our", or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how the app handles data when you use Pixel Sanitizer.
1. What Pixel Sanitizer does
Pixel Sanitizer lets you inspect image metadata and create a cleaned image copy with metadata removed. Core image processing is performed locally on your device.
2. Data processed on your device
- Selected photos and extracted metadata are processed locally in-app.
- Sanitized image copies are created and stored on your device when you choose to save them.
- Original photos are not overwritten by default.
3. Data we collect directly
We do not require account registration and we do not intentionally collect personal data directly through app accounts or a backend service.
4. Third-party services (Advertising)
Pixel Sanitizer uses Google AdMob to display ads. AdMob may collect and process certain device and usage data (for example, advertising identifiers, IP address, app interactions, and diagnostics) in accordance with Google's policies.

5. Permissions
The app may request the following permissions only for app functionality:
INTERNETandACCESS_NETWORK_STATEfor loading ads.WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE(legacy Android versions only) to save sanitized images.
6. Data sharing
We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by third-party providers such as Google AdMob as described above.
7. Data retention
App-generated files (such as sanitized images) remain on your device until you delete them. We do not operate a user-content backend for storing your photos.
8. Children's privacy
Pixel Sanitizer is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect app functionality; however, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date.
